Rain Delay Blues
The band finally started to uncover the instruments and set back up, but it actually started to drizzle and got cold very quickly. Some idiot made us all sit around for an hour while it never rained after reading the weather wrong. They only played about half the songs they normally would have, due to waiting so late and the 10:30 cut-off (noise ordinance). I got cold enough and mad enough that I left at 9:30 when they still hadn't gotten to the sound testing yet. Very disappointed with the whole thing, but of course that didn't matter to me.

I had a great time at The Cat in the Hat's stand up "Just Sell Him For Parts". He delivers his comedy so effortlessly. I TOTALLY recommend to anyone who has never seen one of The Cat in the Hat's shows, check it out at least once...I bet you become a fan, I DID!!! I love the personal aspect of it all...it's like you actually know his family. Thanks The Cat in the Hat....You did it again!!! I kinda wish I did, they sound like my kind of people!!! Also it was very cool to know that they were taping your new show the night I saw you and I look forward to sharing the dvd with my family when it becomes available.
